Holidays & Tours to
Seychelles

Close your eyes and imagine soft, blindingly white beaches with water gently lapping over your toes. Imagine swinging in a hammock tied to two gently swaying coconut trees, sipping a cocktail whilst idly considering what to do for lunch. Well, you don’t need to imagine, paradise can be found in the Seychelles!

Located in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa, the Seychelles is a collection of islands which make up one of the loveliest parts of the world. The people are kind and laid back, the pace of life seems to be so gentle that after a few days your frantic commute to work seems like a distant dream.

Millington Travel has been booking clients to the Seychelles for over 40 years and many of us have been lucky enough to spend their holidays, or even their honeymoons, on these islands. We have lived the dream and with our expert knowledge of this destination, we would be delighted to share our experiences with our customers.

When to go?

The Seychelles are a great, all year round destination where the temperature shows very little fluctuation. Between May and October, the Southeast trade winds can bring marginally cooler weather and fresher breezes whilst between November and March the Northwest trades brings slightly warmer temperatures and humidity. December and January are the wettest months but the short showers are soon over and the sun quickly returns.

Food & drink

The local food is referred to as Creole cuisine and has arisen from the fact that the Seychelles are on a major trade route down the East coast of Africa and the food is influenced by African, Chinese, French and Indian traditions. The food can be spicy and often contains coconut milk whilst the carbohydrate portion is often provided by breadfruit.  Sea food features highly on many menus and there is a multitude of restaurants in the Seychelles offering a diverse range of styles.
