When to go?

Tasmania’s climate is very similar to the UK with four seasons but without the intense heat experienced elsewhere in Australia. With long lazy days and pleasant temperatures, the summer months of December to March are the best, though some of the west coast rainforests can be wet all year with the inland mountains receiving a dusting of snow each winter.
