When to go?

Dubai attracts visitors all year round thanks to its climate of constant sunshine and low rainfall. The prime months to visit are October to April when the temperatures are cooler. June to August is very hot but this is still a very popular time for families as holiday bargains are plentiful.

Food & drink

The range of dining options is immense and there is something for every taste and budget. From high end celebrity chef endorsed restaurants with pretensions of Michelin status to delicious Lebanese style street food and a thousand other options in between.  Try ‘The Walk’, a one mile strip of hotels, shops and restaurants at the southern end of Jumeirah Beach for a great selection of restaurants (Gary Rhodes Twenty10 & Frankie’s Italian are two of our favourites). Although Dubai is a Muslim country, alcohol is available but by law only within the confines of a hotel. But with around 450 hotels in the emirate, some with up to 26 bars, restaurants and clubs, you won't be short of places to have a drink.
